What does THABTA mean?
THABTA is an acronym for The Hair and Beauty Training Academy- we use this for our website and instagram pages to make it easier for you to find us online.
Are your academy hair and beauty courses accredited?
Yes, the majority of our courses are independently accredited by IPHM. This means you are able to gain insurance after training.
Some courses are workshop style courses, and are not accredited. These are designed as introductory or leisure courses. We will clearly state where this is the case, and you will receive a certificate of attendance after training.
Do you supply kits?
In most cases, no. We want to keep your training costs as low as possible- so instead you will use our kit during training and we will give you all the information you need to purchase tools and products at cost price from wholesalers.
If a kit is supplied for your course this will be stated on the course information page. We are an independent training provider and are not affiliated with any third parties.
The benefit to you is we can offer you advice and guidance on choosing the best products, equipment and tools for you from the whole of the market.
