THE COURSE IS USUALLY SPLIT INTO TWO SETS OF 5 DAYS TRAINING, HOWEVER WE WILL WORK WITH YOU TO ARRANGE TRAINING DATES THAT SUIT YOU.

Course Description:

10 Day Hairdressing course designed for complete beginners and those looking to refresh their foundation skills. Also ideal for newly qualified hairdressers keen to build their confidence with hair cutting and colouring services.

 This course covers all of the hair cutting and colouring techniques that you would learn in year one/ level 2 hairdressing at college.

 This is achieved by the vast difference in class numbers- at college you could be one of up to 25 students with all of the distractions that brings, whereas at THABTA you will either receive one to one or one to two in-person training, working at your pace with a highly qualified and experienced expert tutor. This course includes:

·       One length cutting skills with smooth blow dry

·       Layered hair cutting skills with round brush blow dry

·       Graduated bob hair cutting skills with flat brush blow dry

·       Short layers with finger blow drying

·       Introduction to colour theory

·       Application of demi-permanent colour

·       Application of permanent colour

·       Partial foiling techniques

In week one techniques will be developed using a training manikin head- no live models. In week 2 you are asked to invite 3 models who will each have a cutting and colouring service. This experience will help support your understanding and increase confidence in your new skills.

Pre- Requisites:

You must be aged 16 or over to take part in this course.

Suitable for complete beginners.

Certification:

Upon successful course completion you will receive your IPHM Fully Accredited and insurable course certificate. This certificate enables you to access insurance so that you can start providing treatments to members of the public.

No kit required. You will use ours and will be provided with a free manikin training head. We will give you all the information you will need to build your kit at trade prices.
