At THABTA, we’re continuing to build a talented team of experienced hair and beauty educators who share our passion for high-quality, supportive education.

We’re not currently recruiting for a specific educator vacancy, however, as THABTA continues to grow and new teaching opportunities become available, we would love to hear from experienced professionals who may be interested in joining our education team in the future.

By completing the application form below, you can register your interest and tell us more about your experience, qualifications and specialist areas. We can then get in touch if a suitable opportunity becomes available.

You don’t need to teach across every area, though we are particularly interested in educators with specialist expertise in at least three or more of the following subjects:

Hairdressing:
Bouncy Blow Dry | Hair Up Styling | Keratin Blow Dry | Hair Extensions- nanos/ weave/ tape

Beauty:
Lash Lift – Traditional & Korean | Brow Lamination | Hybrid Brows | Threading | Lash Extensions | Spray Tan | Swedish Massage | Hot Stone Massage | Lymphatic Drainage Massage | Indian Head Massage | Manicure | Pedicure | Gel Polish | BIAB

What We Look For

Potential THABTA Educators should have:

  • TQFE, AET or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Proven teaching or training experience in an F.E College or accredited private training academy

  • Strong industry experience within their specialist area

  • Relevant professional qualifications

  • Current PVG membership or willingness to obtain the appropriate PVG

Most importantly, we’re looking for educators who can confidently teach practical skills while creating the supportive, professional and welcoming learning experience THABTA is known for.

Teaching With THABTA

Our educator opportunities are designed to work well alongside your own salon, business, employment or other commitments.

Depending on future course demand and the subjects you are qualified to teach, opportunities may include:

  • Part-time employed educator roles

  • Teaching THABTA courses within your specialist area

  • Small class sizes

  • Typically 9.30am–4.30pm teaching days

  • Full academy support

  • Induction and standardisation

  • Ongoing professional development

  • Opportunities to teach additional subjects where appropriately qualified

  • Potential for increased teaching hours as THABTA continues to grow
